Are you a top Zambian prospective student looking for an opportunity to study at Cavendish University Zambia?

We are offering academic-excellence scholarships, for students looking to start in January 2027. These scholarships cover 100% tuition fees and are available to first-year students.

The recipients of the Cavendish Excellence Scholarship will be required to attend leadership workshops and to play a role in peer-mentoring and peer-tutoring and other intellectually enriching or university marketing work-study initiatives for 15 hours a week. Recipients will also be required to maintain an average of B+ per semester.

Eligibility

To qualify for Cavendish University Excellence Scholarships, an entering student should meet the following criteria:

  • A maximum of 10 points at Grade 12 or an average of A at ‘A’ Level -Strong interest in developing leadership skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-entry written English and basic Mathematics test
  • Ability to pass an oral interview
  • Must be a day student
  • Must not be more than 25 years of age Applicants should also have:
  • At least two letters of reference or recommendation, one of which should be from a Headteacher of their previous school, and a second letter from a Community leader.

How To Apply

Qualified applicants should visit the Admissions office at Cavendish University, Corner of Great North and Washama Road, with originals and photocopies of their Grade 12 certificates and ‘A’ level results (where applicable), and ask to fill out the Cavendish Excellence Scholarship application.

During these visits, applicants will be scheduled for a pre-entry test and an oral interview. Cavendish University offers scholarships in all undergraduate degree programs.

The application deadline is 16thSeptember 2026.

Once you have completed the necessary procedures (Including an English and Mathematics test), an oral interview will be scheduled, and an Admissions Officer will contact you with the Scholarship Committee’s final decision.

Applicants who are approved will need to officially register for classes through their Admissions Officer and can begin their studies immediately as per the academic calendar.

Applicants who are not approved can still study at Cavendish University by following the standard enrolment process.

Student Declaration and Consent

1. Consent to Use of Name and Likeness — By enrolling at Cavendish University Zambia (CUZ), the student hereby grants consent to the University to capture, use, reproduce, and publish their name, image, likeness, and voice in photographs, videos, or other media taken on campus or at CUZ-related events for academic, promotional, marketing, and institutional purposes, without compensation, unless otherwise expressly withdrawn in writing.

2. Authorization to Share Student Information with Parent/Guardian — The student authorizes CUZ to share information relating to tuition, academic performance, attendance, and other official University communications with the parent(s), guardian(s), or sponsor(s) listed in the student's records, unless the student provides written notice revoking such authorization.

3. Official Communication Policy (Email Use) — The student acknowledges and agrees that CUZ will issue official communication exclusively through the student's assigned CUZ email account. The student is responsible for regularly monitoring this account.
